- ኢንፍራሳውንድ: ጆሮህ ከዚያ በኋላ የማይመዘግባቸው ያህል ዝቅተኛ ድምፆች፦ ከ20 Hz ገደማ በታች። ከመስማት ይልቅ በደረትህ ንዝረት ይሰማሃል፣ ከባድ የጭነት መኪና ሲያልፍ እንደሚሆነው። ዝሆኖችና ርግቦች ግን ይይዟቸዋል — ከኪሎሜትሮች ርቀትም ቢሆን።
- ሄርትዝ (Hz): ሄርትዝ አንድ ድምፅ በሰከንድ ስንት ጊዜ እንደሚንቀጠቀጥ ይቆጥራል። ጥቂት ንዝረት = ዝቅተኛ (የነጎድጓድ ጓጓታ፣ 30 Hz ገደማ)። ብዙ ንዝረት = ከፍተኛ (የማይክሮዌቭ ጩኸት፣ 3,000 Hz ገደማ)። እና “1 kHz” ማለት 1,000 Hz ለማለት አጭር መንገድ ብቻ ነው። አንተ በጥቅሉ ከ20 Hz እስከ 20,000 Hz ትሰማለህ።
